The volleyball team defeated Chattahoochee last night 25-10,25-11 in their most complete performance of the season. The serve reception was a season high 2.05 led by Freshman
Stella House who passed at a 2.60 rate. House also added 2 kills. The offense was led by Freshman
Courtlyn Richard who had 5 kills and 2 aces and Freshman
Landry Hess with 4 kills.Â
Julia Chandler engineered the attack picking up 8 assists and 6 digs. Senior
Sofia Ziran also had 9 digs in the match. In the second match of the evening the team took on Roswell. The came back from a mistake filled 25-21 first set to take total control of set two 25-9 to complete the sweep. Sophomore
Eveliina Campbell dominated the second set from the service line scoring the first 14 points of the set to get the team off to an almost perfect start. From that point they were able to trade points for a comfortable win. The team travels to Mobile, Alabama for the 10th annual McGill-Toolen Catholic Cup where they will attempt to become the first 5 time winner of the event.
