The Athletic Association enhances all Golden Lions athletic programs by providing supplemental financial and volunteer support. The association provides over 40% of each sport’s annual operational budget by assisting with uniform and equipment replacement, facility enhancements and rental needs, and assistant coaching stipends.
The Athletic Association also provides volunteer staffing, sponsors a golf tournament and the Christmas Classic basketball tournament, and organizes 3 Coke product fundraising sales. An annual membership drive is held each July with levels ranging from $50 to $750. Corporate sponsorships and general advertising opportunities are also solicited. Please note, Athletic Association memberships, sponsorships, and advertisements are not tax deductible donations and are not eligible for matching corporate fund programs.
St. Pius X is proud of its tradition of athletic excellence. Over 75% of our students participate in one of our 23 athletic programs. Their dedication, both individually and collectively, to being the best that they can be with the talent that God has given them, is a constant theme and driving force within this school.

This type of success is due to the collaborative efforts of our students, coaches, and parents. The St. Pius X Athletic Association serves as the vehicle for our parents, grandparents, and alumni to get involved.
