First official home games of the season and the volleyball team struggled with two strong opponents.  The team lost to Blessed Trinity 25-17,25-22 in the first match of the season.  Despite the Titans dominating the middle of the net, Freshman Courtlyn Richard was six for six from the right side getting six kills in only six swings.  Freshman Stella House added five kills and a team leading 4 digs.  In the second match, the Golden Lions got within two points of victory, being the first to 13 in the deciding set, yet Johns Creek got the last three points to secure the 25-14,25-25,15-13 victory.  Richard peppered the stat sheet with 3 blocks, 3 aces and 4 kills back in the middle.  Senior Sofia Ziran picked up 12 digs and Sophmore Eveliina Campbell had 14 assists and 3 aces.  The team plays next in a pair of matches next Tuesday at North Cobb Christian.
