St. Pius X defeated the Druid Hill Red Devils in an important region game 7-6 last night. 

Offensively, the Golden Lions were led by Sam Capretta '26 (2-2, 1 RBI, 1 R, 1 2B) and Quill Howell '27 (1-2, 2 RBI, 2 R, 1 2B). 

Logan Lanier '27 (5 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO) earned his 5th win of the season and Andrew Biggers '28 pitched 2 innings of relief to earn his first save of the season.

The Golden Lions will be back in action next week in The Battle for Bartow at LakePoint Sports -- Thursday, April 9 vs. Carrollton and Friday, April 10 vs. Newton. Both games are scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. first pitch.
