ATLANTA - The St. Pius X Catholic High School lacrosse and tennis teams will host opponents in the first round of GHSA Playoffs this Tuesday, April 27. 

The girls and boys tennis teams will host Blessed Trinity and Centennial, respectively, at the Golden Lions' home for tennis, the Hudlow Tennis Center in Norcross. Both matches start Tuesday at 4pm. The Golden Lions, who both finished third in region play, defeated their higher-seeded first round opposition 3-0. 

In lacrosse, the George B. Maloof stadium is set up for a fantastic home doubleheader on Tuesday. The girls lacrosse team, which went 4-0 in area play and ranked 14th in Division 1 play, with host 19th-ranked Midtown at 5pm. The Golden Lions defeated Midtown 16-5 last month. 

The boys team, also ranked 14th in Division 1, finished second in the area and will host 19th-ranked Mt. Paran at 7:15pm.
