It was a beautiful day for baseball at Spellman Field as the Golden Lions defeated the North Springs Spartans 1-0 in a pitcher's duel. 

RHP Cole Cirone '27 had a great outing (6.1 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 12 SO, 2 BB). RHP Connor Tysver '28 came on in relief to earn the win (0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 SO, 0 BB). 

With no score in the game, the Golden Lions rallied in the bottom of the 7th inning to score and walk-off with the win. Grayson Granberry '26 led off the inning with a double to left field. JP Apgar '26 singled on a bunt that moved Granberry to third base. Pete Kostopoulos '27 singled to center field to bring Granberry home. 

The team will be back in action on Monday at North Springs.
