The Golden Lions baseball team defeated the Riverwood Raiders 10-3 tonight at Spellman Field at the Seaver Family Sports Complex in the first home game of the season. 

Starting pitcher Cole Cirone '27 earned the win (4.2 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 6 SO) and Jacob Morton '27 got the save (2.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO).

Pete Kostopolous '27 had two hits and an RBI. Six more Golden Lions contributed with hits (JP Apgar '26, Nolan Newsham '27, Royce Woodson '26, Connor Tysver '28, Grayson Granberry '26 and Easton Bailey '26). 

The Golden Lions will be back in action on Friday, February 20 at Spellman Field for the second game of the three game home stand.
