The Golden Lions defeated the Southwest DeKalb Panthers 5-0 in the first game of tonight's doubleheader. 

Starting pitcher Colton Sumpter '27 threw 6 scoreless innings, allowing 3 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4 batters. Willam Edwards '25 closed the game by striking out 2 hitters in a scoreless 7th inning. 

Wesley Ingham '25 went 2-4 (1 RBI), Bobby Frierson '27 went 2-3 (1 2B, 1 R, 1 RBI), and Archer Love '25 went 2-3 (1 R, 1 RBI, 1 SB) to lead the offense.
