The Golden Lions baseball team opened the 2025 season with a 9-2 win over the Dunwoody Wildcats at Dunwoody High School. 

Pitcher McKale Stevenson '25 earned the win, giving up no runs and only 1 hit, striking out 3 in 3.2 innings of work. The offense was led Michael Dee '25 (2-3, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 1 SB), Wesley Ingham '25 (2-3, 2 BB), Bobby Frierson '27 (2-3, 1 RBI, 2 R), and Royce Woodson '26 (2-3, 2 RBI, 1 R, 1 BB). Pitcher Andrew Biggers '28 pitched 1 inning, striking out 3 batters, in his Varsity debut and Pitcher Will Freeman '25 closed the game with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief (3 strike outs).
