ATLANTA - The legendary Maloof Field at George B. Maloof stadium on the campus of St. Pius X Catholic High School underwent extensive renovation and returfing this summer.
Both football and lacrosse summer camps were able to hold four days of fun recently on the brand new surface.
One of the dominating features is a hallmark of St. Pius X, the Chi Rho, which is part of the school crest presented in navy at the center of the field.
The
varsity football team will christen the new field under first-year head coach Adam Pullen with a scrimmage against Lovett on Friday, August 14 before opening the regular season at home vs. Dacula on Friday, August 21. Tickets available
here.
Varsity girls flag football will open their season with a home date on Tuesday, September 15 with games against Decatur and Marietta.
