The Golden Lions softball team defeated the Southwest DeKalb Panthers 8-2 to move to 2-0 in region play.

Maggie Laba '26 earned the win by throwing a complete game (7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 11 SO, 0 BB). Mary Durieux '27 had two hits for the Golden Lions.

The softball team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 2nd with a doubleheader vs. Clarkson at Spellman Field.
