St. Pius X - The Golden Lions softball team opened the 2024 season with a dominating 12-0 win over the Woodward Academy War Eagles, and begins the season with a 1-0 record. The War Eagles now hold a 0-1 record. 

Senior Sadie Flynn pitched 3 innings and earned the win, striking out 4 and allowing no walks. Junior Ella Hall led the offense with 2 hits and 2 RBI.

The Golden Lions travel to arch rival Marist to play the War Eagles in a 4A Region 5 game on Tuesday, August 6. The War Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-0. Marist won 9-7 in their recent non-league game against Cambridge.
