St. Pius X - The Golden Lions defeated the North Springs Spartans 6-4 on Tuesday. With the win, St. Pius X improves their record to 2-2, 1-1 in region. North Springs fell to 4-5, 2-2 in region.

Junior Alex Petitt led the Golden Lions at the plate with a 4-4 night, including 1 RBI. Junior Maggie Laba pitched 3.2 innings from the circle, striking out 2 and walking 1.

Pius will return to action on Wednesday, as they take on Mount Vernon at Spellman Field at 5:30 PM.
