After playing their first four games of the season at home, the Golden Lions (3-2, 2-1 region) softball team played on the road at Sprayberry (2-5, 0-3 region) last night. The team returned back to campus with an 11-3 region victory. 

Lyla Kelly '29 hit her first home run of the young season in the top of the 2nd inning, a 2-run blast, to help the Lions score 6 runs in the frame. Pitcher Emery Harris '29 (6.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO) earned the win.

The Golden Lions will be back on the road today for a 5:00 p.m. game vs. Wesleyan (2-2, 2-0 Region 5-3A), at the Wolves home field - Wren Stadium at Agape Field in Peachtree Corners.
