The St. Pius X softball season came to an end at Harris County High School (Hamilton, GA) last night when the #1 Harris County Tigers (29-5) swept the #17 Golden Lions (19-12) 8-0 and 16-3 in the best-of-three game series (2nd round of the GHSA 5A state playoffs).

Lyla Kelly '29, Lily Fortner '28, and Maya McDaniel '27 hit solo home runs in the second game.

This was the fourth consecutive season that the Golden Lions advanced to the second round (or better) of the state playoffs.
