2026 Summer Mileage recording form - Coming soon!
The first summer practice date will be Monday, June 1st and the final practice date will be Saturday, August 1st. Mandatory fall practices begin on the first day of school - Wednesday, August 5th. All athletes must have a physical on file to participate in summer practices.
Mileage – Runners will be capable of recording their total summer miles. If they keep track of their miles and run enough over the summer, they will receive a summer mileage reward shirt at the end of the summer. This is optional, but encouraged to be at your best.
Strava – An easy way to keep track of your mileage, especially if you get a GPS watch, is to create an account on Strava which is an online running log. I recommend that you keep your log marked as private or only visible to those you approve to follow you (feel free to request to follow any of our coaches). Once you do this and connect your GPS watch to the strava app, then it will upload them for you and you can easily see your weekly mileage on the site. Note - strava has features that are free and features that are paid and require a subscription. The paid features are very in depth and useful for elite athletes. But for beginners the free version is perfectly fine. The full in depth training log requires the subscription, but you can access all of your runs on the free version as well. To access your run history on the desktop version, just go to "training" and then "training calendar" or "my activities." On the strava mobile app go to the "you" button in the bottom right corner and click on the "progress" tab where you can see your weekly mileage for the most recent 12 weeks in a simple graph form. Or you can go to the "activities" tab and see all of your activities one at a time.
