Middle School Boys Lacrosse Information
The St. Pius X middle school boys lacrosse team plays in the AMSLL. This league includes Blessed Trinity, Decatur, Dunwoody, GAC, HIES, Howard, Lovett, Marist, Pace Academy, Riverwood, Trinity Christian, Wesleyan, Westminster and Woodward Academy.
The season runs from February through April. Our team practices twice a week, usually on Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon. Games are played on Saturdays, usually with two games per day. The middle school team consists primarily of 7th and 8th graders, but younger players with experience are encouraged to tryout and they can make the team.
This team is headed by Coach Kyle Larkin, a St. Pius X graduate that played college lacrosse. His assistant coaches are Cody Nelson, a St. Pius X graduate, and Nicholas Klos, a northern Virginia native who played at University of Tampa. Coach Klos is the play by play announcer for the Atlanta Swarm!
