The Golden Lions (11-7, 7-3 region) defeated the Northview Titans (2-16, 0-9 region) 12-1 at Northview High School tonight. 

Emery Harris '29 (2-2, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 2B), Merrit Gorman '27 (2-2, 2 R, 1 BB), Madeline Kapp '27 (2-3, 1 R, 2 RBI, 1 2B), and Lily Fortner '28 (2-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2 2B) each had two hits in the game, while Maya McDaniel '27 hit her second home run of the season. 

Starting pitcher Norah Mutic '30 (4 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO) earned the win and relief pitcher Loraley Messick '28 (1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 1 SO) closed the game.

The team's next game will be on Thursday, September 17 vs. the Marist War Eagles (11-6, 8-3 region) at Spellman Field. First pitch will be at 5:30 PM.
