The 2026 season will be Coach McDougal's 10th as the Golden Lions head coach (16th overall). During her time as head coach, Coach McDougal's teams have won two region championships, advanced to the state playoffs 6 times, including once to the state quarterfinals (2024). She was a four-year varsity starter at Chamblee Charter High School and was named All-American as a Junior and Senior. She continued her career at the collegiate level on a full softball scholarship to Oklahoma Panhandle State University, where she earned 1st team All-Conference honors as a junior. “Discipline and Consistency” are valuable lessons Coach McDougal has learned and wants to pass on to student athletes as a key to a successful life. She teaches Health and Physical Education at St. Pius X. Coach McDougal and her husband Ramon McDaniel have two children: Ramon Jr. and Maya (SPX ’27).
