The 2025 season sees Coach King beginning his third season in charge of the JV boys. Coach King got his first taste of soccer playing recreationally at DDYSC before switching to a more competitive environment, first at TYSA, then CFC Chiefs, and then finally Inter Atlanta where he was his team’s top scorer in a tournament in Spain, the Donosti Cup. He went to Mercer University where he played for a year before taking a break from school. Since then, he has continued to explore the game in various ways including working for a company which installed portable soccer fields for parties and events, soccer podcasting, sports writing, field managing and since 2017, coaching at DDYSC.
