Little Lions Cheer Camp Welcomes More Than 140 Little Lions Cheerleaders!

The spirit of St. Pius X was on full display this week as more than 140 campers participated in our annual Little Lions Cheer Camp! From first-time cheerleaders to returning campers, the gym was filled with excitement, laughter, and Golden Lion pride.

Throughout the week, campers learned cheers, chants, dances, jumps, and beginner stunting while building confidence, making new friends, and experiencing what it means to be part of the SPX Cheer family. They also enjoyed themed activities, games, crafts, and plenty of fun alongside student leaders from St. Pius X Catholic High School.

The week concluded with a special showcase performance where campers proudly demonstrated everything they had learned for their families and friends. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork were a wonderful reflection of the hard work they put in throughout the week.

Little Lions Cheer Camp is about much more than learning cheerleading skills. It provides young athletes with an opportunity to develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit while creating lasting memories.

A special thank you goes to the St. Pius X Catholic High School students who volunteered as camp counselors. Their enthusiasm, patience, and leadership helped create a fun, encouraging, and memorable experience for every camper. We are also grateful to our families for entrusting us with their children and for their continued support of the SPX Cheer program.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's camp such a tremendous success. Seeing more than 140 young athletes fill our gym with smiles, spirit, and Golden Lion pride was an incredible way to kick off the summer.

Save the Date! We are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for Little Lions Cheer Camp 2027, which is planned for the last full week of June 2027. We can't wait to cheer with you again!

Go Golden Lions!
